Industrial Training Programme Individual research project In the final degree year, both BEng and MEng students will have the opportunity to select project litfrature of interest from across the research of the department, and then spend the entire academic year working on the project with one of the research groups.
You’ll then study modules developed for our PhD students and complete two reviee research projects the Year 4 project will be working in a research group to build up practical skills with research-level equipment.
This experience will put your learning into context and give you a head start in the ikm3 market. It is possible to switch between the BEng and MEng based on performance on the exams in the course up to the end of Year 2.
